About the show
"Light of Creation" is a 30-minute immersive light show that tells the story of creation through a captivating blend of light projections, music, and architecture. Held in the magnificent Votivkirche in Vienna, this show offers a unique opportunity to experience the beauty and grandeur of this historic building in a new light.
The Concept
"Light of Creation" weaves a captivating narrative of the formation of
the universe through mesmerizing visual and auditory effects. The show
is divided into six acts, each depicting a different stage of
creation, from the emergence of light and the separation of water to
the formation of land and the blossoming of life. The artistic concept
was created by celebrated opera singer and producer Max Emanuel
Cenčić, who has assembled a team of internationally renowned artists
to realize his vision of an outstanding immersive show.

Using state-of-the-art projection technology, “Light of creation” transforms the interior of Vienna’s Votiv Church into a dynamic canvas of light, colour and sound. The impressive visuals for Light of Creation were crafted by MP-STUDIO, led by Marin Petkov.

Music and Sound
The music for “Light of Creation” was created by Austrian EMMY Award-winning composer Adam Lukas. The original score enhances and complements the visual elements of the immersive light experience, adding depth and emotion to the narrative.
With this composition, I want to take the audience on a journey back to the dawn of time: from the Big Bang to the blossoming of life. The orchestral music complements the entire experience, ranging from ethereal and meditative to powerful and uplifting. – Adam Lukas

Historical Setting
The Votiv Church with its neo-Gothic architecture and rich history
provides an ideal setting for ”Light of Creation”. This iconic church
was built in the 19th century and meticulously restored in recent
years. Its towering spires and intricate stained-glass windows enhance
the visual grandeur of the light show, while the church’s
architectural beauty blends seamlessly into the overall concept.
