Experience a moving evening in Vienna: the impressive Votive Church hosts Light of Creation. The evening begins with a ca. 30-minute organ performance before the lightshow continues with powerful live organ accompaniment – a unique interaction of sound and light.
With your visit, you make a valuable contribution to restoring the historic organ and help preserve this important instrument for future generations.
Since the construction of the Votive Church, an organ has been part of its equipment and is located in the gallery above the main entrance. Built in 1878 by E. F. Walcker and inspected by Anton Bruckner, this organ is one of the most important instruments of its kind, with 61 stops, three manuals, and 3,762 pipes.
Despite interventions and war damage, the original construction has remained largely intact. A restoration was carried out in 1995/96 - but today a comprehensive renovation is urgently needed to preserve this unique sound monument for the future.

Your donation supports the restoration of the historic Walcker organ and highlights the charitable purpose of this event even more clearly.
